Brick repointing is a process of brickwork restoration, that restores and enhances the water resistance and energy performance of bricks and mortar of your property. Over time, due to weathering and decay, cracks form in the joint between the bricks, allowing for the undesirable entrance of water. This, in turn, can cause significant damage through frost weathering and by salt dissolution and deposition. For brick pointing restoration we use the lime mortar, which was used in the past for building old structures in Manchester and Cheshire.
